International Art Competitions

"Art and Color 365’s mission is to celebrate artists for the unique perspectives, amazing skills, beautiful imagery, and creativity they contribute to the world. We do this through regular feature stories in our magazine about significant artists and with monthly art competitions that showcase artists to bring them greater attention and offer broader outreach for their work."

 

Competitions Themes:

• Competitions based on a specific medium (watercolor, acrylic, pencil/ink, pastel, oil): artists may submit two-dimensional artwork in any style and of any subject.

• Competitions featuring a theme (portraits, wildlife/animals, landscapes/waterscapes, abstract/non-objective, figurative): artists may use two-dimensional media or mixed media of their choice.

Prizes:

1st Place

• Wins $150 cash award

• Six-page magazine feature story about the artist showcasing their artwork. Additionally, the feature story will be posted on www.artandcolor365.com.

• Awarded artwork included in exhibitions in Art and Color 365’s magazine (print and digital) and on the magazine’s website.

• Social media promotion in the form of individualized posts, stories and reels

• Distribution of an individualized press release which will be submitted to top U.S. media outlets and search engines

• Digital award certificate

• Receives a free digital issue of Art and Color 365 magazine in which their story appears

 

2nd Place:

• Four-page magazine feature story about the artist showcasing their art. Additionally, the feature story will be posted on www.artandcolor365.com.

• Awarded artwork included in exhibitions in Art and Color 365’s magazine (print and digital) and on the magazine’s website.

• Promotion on Art and Color 365’s Instagram and Facebook accounts

• Distribution of an individualized press release which will be submitted to top U.S. media outlets and search engines
